During the symposium, Anton van Wyk, Intergraph’s industry specialist of geospatial applications, will present “Enterprise Workflows Over the Web – Glen Eira City Council.” In this presentation, learn how the Council updated its geospatial data workflows with Intergraph’s new GeoMedia Smart Client solution. As a result, Glen Eira City Council has reduced development costs for reports, and enjoys a more dynamic environment. GeoMedia Smart Client also shortened the time from data capture to reporting. Users can now capture data on legal points of discharge, or a point where stormwater can be properly discharged, directly via the web through the Smart Client interface. Council personnel can also develop the workflows through standard XML forms and then make these workflows available to non-GIS users.
